Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Gilles fellow, the co-founder guy. Seems like a big deal, huh? Folks keep jabberin’ about him.
Who’s this Gilles anyway?
Well, from what I hear, he’s one of them “entrepreneurs.” Big word, I know. Means he starts businesses, I guess. And he’s from Canada, that cold place up north. Been doin’ this kinda work for a long, long time, like, more’n 25 years. That’s a whole lotta years, even for an old hen like me! He’s been busy, that’s for sure. They call him a “technology strategist” too. Sounds fancy, right? Probably means he figures out how to make them computer things work better or somethin’. I ain’t too sure about all that newfangled stuff.
Startin’ a Business with Someone
Now, this here co-founder thing, that’s interestin’. It’s like gettin’ hitched but for business. You find someone to work with, side by side. But it ain’t always easy, you know? Some folks, they like to tinker around, never really gettin’ anything done. Like my nephew Billy, always fiddlin’ with that old car, never actually drivin’ it anywhere. You gotta make sure your partner ain’t one of them, or you’ll be spinnin’ your wheels and goin’ nowhere fast. Gotta find someone who wants to sell something, not just play around.
- Gotta find someone reliable
- Someone who wants to make money, not just mess around
- Someone you can actually stand bein’ around all day
Other Folks Like Gilles
Seems like there’s other folks out there like this Gilles. I heard about this other guy, Elalouf, real sharp fella, worked in fashion. Made pretty clothes, I reckon. And then there’s this Buzzfeed fella, the big boss man. He shared his story, how he got to be so successful. Said somethin’ ’bout community bein’ important. Guess that makes sense, even in the henhouse, you gotta get along with the other chickens to get things done.
Goin’ it Alone or With a Partner?
Some folks, they do it all on their own, they call ’em “solopreneurs.” Like sellin’ eggs at the farmers market by yourself. You can do it, but it’s hard work. You gotta know people, gotta have folks to help ya out. But havin’ a partner, that can be good too. You share the work, share the worries. But findin’ the right partner, that’s the tricky part. It’s like findin’ a good rooster, gotta be strong, gotta be smart, and gotta be willin’ to do his share of the work.
Findin’ that Partner
Nowadays, with all this internet stuff, it’s easier to find folks to work with. You don’t have to just rely on folks in your own town. You can find someone from halfway across the world if you want to. It’s a whole new world out there, I tell ya. So if you’re lookin’ for a co-founder, don’t be shy. Get out there, talk to folks, see who’s a good fit. Just make sure they ain’t one of them tinkerers!
What’s a Founder Anyway?
And you know, folks keep throwin’ around these words, “founder” this, “co-founder” that. It’s simple, really. The founder, that’s the one who started it all, had the idea in the first place. The co-founder, well, they came along later to help out. Like makin’ a quilt, one person starts it, but sometimes you need another pair of hands to finish it.
So, that’s the gist of it. This Gilles fellow, he’s a co-founder, a business starter, a tech guy from Canada. And findin’ a good co-founder, well, that’s important if you wanna get somewhere in this world. Just like findin’ a good hen to lay eggs with, you gotta choose wisely.
