December 6, 2018, what a day, man. I remember it like it was yesterday. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a wild ride.
So, I woke up, and the first thing I did was check out what was going on in the world. You know, the usual scroll through news and stuff. There was some talk about the French Yellow Vests protests getting pretty intense. They were talking about strikes and all that. Sounded messy, to be honest.
Then, I stumbled upon this really concerning story about two U.S. Marine planes crashing off the coast of Japan. They were doing some mid-air refueling thing, and boom, disaster struck. Only one guy was rescued. I sat there, just thinking about how dangerous that job is, you know? It really puts things into perspective.
More News of the Day
- I also read something about the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo. That’s always scary stuff. I remember reading more about it later that day, and it was just heartbreaking.
- And, get this, I saw that Luxembourg was making all public transport free! That’s wild, right? Imagine just hopping on a bus or train and not paying a dime. Good for them, honestly.
- I found some information about the oldest-known plague sample found. It’s crazy to think about stuff like that being around for so long. They found it in the remains of a young woman from thousands of years ago. History can be a bit eerie, can’t it?
In between all that, I spent some time messing around with some old projects I had lying around. I dusted off some files. I was trying to get my head around, like, how to organize things better.
By the end of the day, I was pretty beat. It was just one of those days where you take in a lot of information, some good, some bad, some just plain weird. But hey, that’s life, right? Always something new to learn or think about.
Anyway, that was my December 6, 2018. Nothing too crazy on my end, but definitely a day filled with some memorable news and a bit of personal reflection.
