Today I finally got around to checking out this place called “Eds House Of Gems.” It is a store in Portland. I’d heard some good things about it, so I was pretty excited to see what they had.

First off, I looked up some basic info about it, mainly to make sure I got the right address. I also took a quick glance at the ratings and reviews from other people, and they were pretty positive overall, so that was a good sign.
Getting There
Getting to the store was easy. I just put the address into my phone, and it gave me perfect directions. It is a convenient location. Parking wasn’t too bad either. There were some spots right out front, and I managed to snag one without any trouble.
Inside the Store
Once I walked in, I was pretty impressed. The place was packed with all sorts of rocks, minerals, and gems. They had everything from little polished stones to huge geodes. The displays were nice, everything was well-organized, and it was easy to see what they had.
- Variety: They really had a huge selection. I saw some common stuff like quartz and amethyst, but they also had some rarer items that I hadn’t seen before.
- Quality: Everything looked to be good quality. I mean, I’m no expert, but the stones were all shiny and pretty, and nothing looked chipped or damaged.
- Prices: The prices seemed reasonable. Some of the bigger pieces were expensive, but that’s to be expected. They had plenty of smaller, affordable items too.
The Staff
The staff were really friendly and helpful. I had a few questions about some of the stones, and they were happy to answer them. They seemed to know their stuff, and they weren’t pushy at all. They let me browse at my own pace, which I appreciated.

Overall Experience
I had a great time at Eds House Of Gems. It’s a cool store with a great selection, and the staff were awesome. I ended up buying a few small stones for my collection. If you’re into rocks and gems, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out. It’s worth a visit!
I will try to make it back to Eds House Of Gems sometime again in the near future. I am glad that I found this place. I hope that the store stays in business for a long time, as it provides a valuable service to the community.
