Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole Coachella fashion thing, right? I was really digging Charli D’Amelio’s style, and I wanted to see if I could pull off something similar. It’s a mix of that early 2000s vibe with a little bit of a modern twist. You know, kinda like what Charli’s doing.
First, I scoured the internet for pictures of Charli at Coachella. I mean, there were tons! I was mostly looking at her past outfits, the ones with all those cool gems and chokers she used to wear. She totally rocked those looks.
- I grabbed a bunch of screenshots and saved them to a folder on my computer.
- Then I started listing out the main pieces of her outfits: like, what kind of tops she wore, what kind of bottoms, shoes, accessories, all that stuff.
- I even noticed she has a tattoo on her arm for her dog, Rebel. That’s so cute!
This year, I saw she wore this sheer white dress with butterflies on it. It was from some brand called Aya Muse, and let me tell you, it was not cheap. But it looked amazing! I decided I needed to find something similar, but, you know, without breaking the bank.
Trying It Out
So, I hit up a few of my favorite online stores, and after a few hours of searching, I found a dress that was kind of similar. It wasn’t exactly the same, but it had that same sheer, flowy kind of feel, and it even had some little butterfly details. Score!
I also picked up some temporary gem stickers and a few chokers, just to really get that Charli D’Amelio Coachella look. I figured, why not go all out, right?
The day I decided to try it all on, I was so excited. I put on the dress, stuck on the gems, clasped on a choker, and looked in the mirror. Honestly, I felt pretty good! It was definitely a different look for me, but I think I pulled it off.
I even took a few pictures, just like Charli does. It was fun to pretend I was at Coachella, even if it was just in my bedroom. It gave me the same feeling of excitement as when I saw someone share a moment of joy on the Internet, and that’s enough for me.
It’s not exactly like Charli’s style, and I don’t have a tattoo dedicated to my dog, but it’s my own take on it. And that’s what makes it cool, I think. I still keep her dog tattoo in mind, maybe someday I will get one.
So, yeah, that’s my little experiment with Charli D’Amelio’s Coachella fashion. It was a fun little project, and it definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone a little. Maybe I’ll even try it again next year with a different outfit!
