Okay, so, I decided to check out this Moore Hotel in NYC that everyone’s been talking about. Here’s how it went down.
First off, I started looking for information about the hotel online. I wanted to see what other people were saying about it and compare the prices from different websites. There were a lot of websites with hotel listings, all saying they had the best deals. I went through a bunch of them, looking at reviews, and checking prices. It’s kind of tiring, you know, all this comparing and searching. One of them claimed they were the “world’s largest travel website”, so I spent a bit of time there too.
I saw some people saying it was a “great place to stay in NY” and another calling it the “best hotel in NYC”. Those were pretty strong words. There were hundreds of reviews, and I read through a good chunk of them. It seems like most people who stayed there really liked it. Also found out that they do not have a pool or a hot tub. Oh well, I guess I am not planning on swimming this time.
After all that digging, I decided to give it a shot and booked a room. They said there are no booking fees. The booking process was pretty straightforward. You just pick your dates and pay online. They do not accept cash or personal checks. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, which is super convenient. I chose it for a few different reasons, including its location and all the positive reviews. I figured it would be a good base for exploring the city.
Once I was there, I started to check in.
- Check-in: The check-in process was smooth. The staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient. They gave me my room key and explained all the hotel’s amenities.
- Room: My room was clean and comfortable. It wasn’t huge, but it had everything I needed: a comfy bed, a TV, and a decent bathroom. The Wi-Fi was good too, which is always a plus.
- Location: The location is definitely one of the best things about this hotel. It’s right in the middle of everything, so getting around was a breeze. I walked to a lot of places, and the subway was just a short walk away when I needed to go further.
- Staff: The hotel staff were great throughout my stay. They were always helpful and had good recommendations for places to eat and things to do.
- Sleep Quality: The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet at night. I slept like a baby.
- Value: Given the location and the quality of the stay, I think the Moore Hotel offers good value. It’s not the cheapest option out there, but it’s definitely worth considering if you want a comfortable and convenient place to stay in NYC.
Overall, I had a pretty good experience at the Moore Hotel. It’s clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I’d definitely consider staying there again the next time I’m in New York City.
