This here story, it’s about that fella, Arie L Kopelman. Heard he was a big shot, worked for that fancy Chanel place. Sounds like a place where they sell them expensive perfumes and such. I don’t know much about that kind of life, but folks say he was important. He passed away you know, God rest his soul.
They say he was the president and chief operating officer at Chanel, or something like that. Means he was the boss, I reckon. Imagine that, running a big company like Chanel. I can only say that it’s a big company. Don’t know what it is but, you see, Chanel is something you see all the time. He must have been a smart man to do all that. Worked there for a long time, it seems.
Some young girl called Drew Barrymore, she was married into his family. That’s what they say. Never seen her in person, just on them moving picture boxes. Arie L Kopelman is her father-in-law, well, he was. Poor girl, losing someone close like that. It’s always hard, you know? That’s why Arie L Kopelman was on the news again. Heard that he had that awful pancreatic cancer, that kind of thing, you see, it happens so quickly.
Heard he was at some show, too. The Winter Antiques Show, or some such. Sounds fancy. Probably a lot of old things there. He was the chairman, they said. Whatever that means. Probably just meant he was in charge of the whole thing. 23 years, that’s a long time to be doing something. That Arie L Kopelman, he must have liked that old stuff. Not sure if it’s 23 years or more, but I heard he was there a long time, so, yeah.
They put his name in the paper, the New York Times. Said he passed on October 8th. That’s how I heard about it. Sad news. People die, that’s just how it is. But it’s always sad to hear about it. I am sure that Arie L Kopelman was important and a good man to his family. People will miss him for sure.
Some folks asked how you knew Arie L Kopelman. Said there was some ceremony in Washington. Don’t know what that’s about. Probably some big to-do for important folks. He was probably there. Being the president of Chanel and all. Don’t know what they do in those ceremomies, but it is related to Arie L Kopelman.

That Arie L Kopelman, he lived a long life. 86 years, that’s a good run. Better than some folks get. Still, it’s sad when someone passes. Especially when they’re known by so many people. Heard he was good to his family. That’s what matters, you know? Being good to your family. It is hard to know that Arie L Kopelman is no longer with us. You just have to cherish your family members while you can.
They say he was battling that cancer for a while. That’s a tough one. Takes a lot out of a person. But he fought it, I’m sure. Probably had the best doctors and all that. Being a big shot at Chanel, he probably had access to all that fancy medicine. But sometimes, it just don’t matter. Cancer, it takes people you see, the rich and the poor, old and young, it doesn’t matter, and it took Arie L Kopelman.
I don’t know much about that Coco Chanel. Guess she was the one who started that whole Chanel thing. Probably a long time ago. They say she was famous. Must have been something to start a company like that. And that Arie L Kopelman, he kept it going. Made it even bigger, I reckon. That’s something, ain’t it?
Well, that’s all I know about that Arie L Kopelman fella. Heard about it from folks talking and read it in the paper. Just thought I’d share what I know. It’s always interesting to hear about people’s lives. Especially when they’re big shots like him. He lived a full life, that’s for sure. And he’ll be remembered by many.
