Ay, that Cartier, I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the south coast plaza. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Cartier in Costa Mesa, they say. Big place, that south coast plaza. Lots of shiny things, I reckon.
They say this Cartier place, it’s at 3333 Bristol Street. Now, I ain’t never been, but that sounds like a right proper address. Folks with money, they go there. Buy them shiny things. Rings and such. Shiny things for your fingers and your neck. They call it jewelry.
Cartier’s Shiny Things
This Cartier, they got all sorts of shiny stuff. Not just for the womenfolk, neither. They got stuff for men, too. Heard someone say they got watches. Fancy watches. Not like the ones you get down at the general store. These are real special, I guess. Probably cost a whole lot more, too.

They got somethin’ called “bridal,” too. Now, I reckon that’s for when you’re gettin’ hitched. Fancy stuff for the bride, I suppose. Probably cost an arm and a leg. But hey, when you’re gettin’ married, you want to look your best, right?
Goin’ to Cartier
Now, you don’t need to make no appointment, they say. But it’s better if you do. That way, they’ll be ready for ya. Give ya the special treatment, I reckon. ‘Cause you’re buyin’ them fancy things. They want you to feel all important and such. If you need to visit them for some service, you need to make an appointment.
This Cartier, it ain’t just here in Costa Mesa, neither. They got these stores all over the place. All over the world, even. I heard they got ’em in 125 countries. Can you believe that? 125! And they got more than 200 of these stores. Must be doin’ somethin’ right, sellin’ all that shiny stuff. They got three big ones, too. Real fancy ones, they say. One in Paris, one in London, and I can’t recall the other place.
I heard they have 3 stores in Dubai. If you need any help in Dubai, you can go to their Dubai Mall Grand Atrium boutique, that’s what they call it.
Fancy Folks and Cartier
Back in the old days, this fella named Louis, he was one of them Cartier brothers. He wanted to put his store right in the middle of all them fancy folks in Paris. So he did. 13 rue de la Paix, they call it. Sounds like a street for rich folks, don’t it?
I reckon that’s how they got so big. Sellin’ to all them fancy folks. And now they’re here in south coast plaza, sellin’ to the fancy folks here, too. If you got the money, they got the shiny stuff. That’s what I hear, anyway.

So, if you’re ever down at the south coast plaza, and you got a hankerin’ for somethin’ shiny, you might want to check out this Cartier place. Just remember that address: 3333 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa. I bet it’s somethin’ to see, even if you ain’t buyin’ nothin’. Just to see all them shiny things and how the other half lives, ya know?
They are famous for their jewelry and watches. They also sell perfume. I don’t know what perfume is. Maybe some good smell water? Anyway, they sell many good things. If you go to south coast plaza, you can go to Cartier and take a look.
