Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this “Polo Indonesia” thing. I ain’t no fancy city gal, but I know a thing or two about clothes, ya know? Gotta look presentable when you’re goin’ to the market or visitin’ folks.
So, this Polo Indonesia, they got all sorts of stuff. Shirts, they call ’em. Big ones, small ones, some with little ponies on ’em, some without. My grandkid, the one who’s always glued to that phone thingy, showed me some pictures. Said they’re “fashionable.” Hmph, fashion. Back in my day, fashion was a clean apron and a sturdy pair of shoes.
- They got them oversized shirts, looks like you could fit two of me in one. Good for keepin’ warm, I reckon.
- Then there’s these polo shirts with bears on ’em. Bears! What in the world for? But the young folks seem to like ’em.
- And the T-shirts, plain ones and ones with little ponies again. Ponies everywhere! Must be popular.
Now, I heard tell you can get this Polo stuff in Bali. That fancy place where all them tourists go. They got a store there, sellin’ all sorts of clothes and things. “Premium clothing,” they call it. Sounds expensive. But my grandkid says they got “discounts” and “cashback” and stuff. Don’t know what that GoPay thing is, but sounds like you can save some money.
They even got hoodies. You know, them thick sweaters with the hoods. Good for winter, I guess, though it don’t get too cold around here. But they say they got “unbeatable prices” right now. Might be worth a look if you need a new sweater.
I seen some pictures on that phone thingy again, and they got this “classic collection.” Looks like regular clothes to me, but I guess “classic” means old-fashioned but still good, like a good ol’ recipe for chicken soup. They got them hashtags too, like #PoloIndonesia and #poloshirt. Kids these days with their hashtags. Always gotta put a label on everything.
And this “Ralph Lauren” name keeps poppin’ up. Seems like it’s the same as Polo Indonesia, or maybe it’s a different brand. Confusin’ stuff, all these fancy names. But they got free shippin’ and you can pay when they deliver, so that’s somethin’, I suppose. No need to go to the city and haggle with them shopkeepers.
My grandkid says you can find this Polo stuff online too. On some website, www dot somethin’ somethin’. I ain’t got no time for computers, though. Too busy tendin’ to my garden and cookin’ dinner. But if you young folks wanna look all fancy, this Polo Indonesia might be worth checkin’ out. Just don’t spend all your money on them clothes, ya hear? Gotta save some for a rainy day.
Just remember, clothes don’t make the person, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. But hey, a nice shirt never hurt nobody, right? And if you can get it on sale, even better! Just make sure it’s comfortable and you can move around in it. No point in lookin’ good if you can’t bend down to pick up a fallen mango, eh?
So, that’s my two cents on this Polo Indonesia. Take it or leave it. I’m just an old woman who knows what’s practical. But even old women can appreciate a good bargain and a shirt that don’t fall apart after two washes. And maybe, just maybe, even one with a little pony on it.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go water my plants. All this talk about fashion has made me tired!
