So I’m watching John Wick, right? And this guy, he’s got this sick car. I mean, seriously cool. I gotta know what it is. It’s eating me up inside. First things first, I hit up Google. Just typed in “John Wick car,” simple as that.

Boom! Top result, it’s a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429. Okay, cool, cool. But then I see another result talking about a Mach 1. What’s the deal? I do a little more digging.
- Turns out, in the movie, they say it’s a Boss 429. I read that it is one of the most… well, something like that.
- But the car they actually use for most of the filming? It’s a Mach 1 dressed up to look like a Boss 429. Sneaky, sneaky.
Apparently, there’s even a company, Classic Recreation, that makes replicas called the “Hitman”. And guess what, I found out that they cost a fortune and you can’t even get them anymore because they are sold out or something. Who knew?
There is also this “Maria” car or something, and it belongs to someone named Uncle Charlie, and the car is loaned to Winston. I have no idea who these people are but it’s something I noticed when watching.
So, yeah, John Wick’s car. It’s a 1969 Mustang, but whether it’s a real Boss 429 or a Mach 1 in disguise, that’s the real mystery. Either way, it’s a sweet ride. And that’s all I wanted to know! Case closed.
