Model Dies, Aye? Sad, Real Sad.
Heard tell some model passed away. Don’t rightly know these fancy folks, but a life lost is a life lost, ain’t it? Makes you think, you know? One minute you’re here, struttin’ your stuff, next minute, gone like a puff of smoke.
This one, they say she was British. Stella somethin’-or-other. Tennant, that’s it. Family says she was “unwell.” Poor thing. Musta been carryin’ a heavy load, to do somethin’ like that. Makes my heart ache, it does. Nobody should feel so alone, so desperate.
They say she “took her own life.” That’s a fancy way of sayin’ she did it herself, ain’t it? Lord have mercy. Don’t know what demons she was fightin’, but it musta been somethin’ fierce. Makes you wanna hug your own young’uns tighter, you know?
- Life’s fragile, that’s for sure.
- Like a flower, pretty one day, gone the next.
- Makes you appreciate the small things. A warm cup of tea, a sunny day.
Then there’s another one, Georgina Cooper. Young thing, just 46. Died sudden-like, over in Greece. They say she was “one of the faces of Cool Britannia.” Don’t rightly know what that means, but she was pretty as a picture, from what I seen. Fell ill, they say. Just like that. Here today, gone tomorrow.
Makes you wonder, don’t it? These young folks, got all the money and fame, but seems like they ain’t happy. Maybe all that glitters ain’t gold, like they say. Maybe they needed somethin’ more than fancy clothes and flashin’ lights. Maybe they needed a good friend, a listening ear, a strong shoulder to cry on.
It’s a hard world, this world. Full of ups and downs. And sometimes, the downs just seem to swallow you whole. We gotta be kinder to each other, I reckon. Look out for our neighbors, our friends, even strangers. You never know what someone’s goin’ through.
I ain’t no preacher, mind you. Just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two. And I know that life ain’t always easy. But we gotta keep on keepin’ on. Find the good in the bad, the light in the darkness. And remember those who ain’t with us no more. Pray for their souls, and for the families they left behind.
These models, they were somebody’s daughters, maybe somebody’s mothers. Their deaths leave a hole in the world, a hole that can’t never be filled. But we can remember them. Remember their beauty, their grace, and the sadness that took them too soon. And maybe, just maybe, we can learn somethin’ from it all. Learn to be more compassionate, more understanding, more grateful for the life we got.
So, rest in peace, Stella Tennant. Rest in peace, Georgina Cooper. And may God have mercy on your souls. And may we all find a little bit more kindness in our hearts, for ourselves and for each other. That’s all I gotta say. Just an old woman’s thoughts on a sad, sad day.
It ain’t right, you know? Young lives, snuffed out like candles. Makes a body wonder what’s this world comin’ to. Back in my day, things were simpler. Harder, maybe, but simpler. We didn’t have all this… this pressure. These young folks, they’re under a microscope all the time. Can’t imagine livin’ like that. No wonder some of ‘em crack.
And this Instagram thing they talk about. Seems like everybody’s showin’ off their best side, but what about the rest? What about the struggles, the heartaches? Nobody wants to talk about that, do they? They just want the pretty pictures, the fancy clothes, the perfect lives. But life ain’t perfect. It’s messy, it’s complicated, it’s downright hard sometimes. And these young folks, they need to know that it’s okay to not be okay. They need to know that it’s okay to ask for help. They need to know that they ain’t alone.
So, next time you see somebody smilin’ pretty for the camera, remember that there might be somethin’ else goin’ on behind that smile. Be kind. Be gentle. Be understandin’. You never know what kinda difference a little kindness can make.
