Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with this whole Kim Kardashian crystal perfume thing for a while now. I mean, the packaging alone is to die for, right? But I was curious if these fragrances actually smelled good or if it was all just hype. So, I decided to dive in and try them out myself.
First impressions
When I first saw the bottles, I was like, “Wow, these are gorgeous!” They look like actual crystals. I know Kim K was into crystals for a while, and she totally nailed the design. I felt like I was getting a piece of art, not just a perfume.
Getting started
I started with Crystal Gardenia because it seemed like the most popular one. When I sprayed it, the first thing I noticed was a strong floral scent. It’s definitely a feminine and, like, luxurious smell. I could smell the gardenia, but there were other notes in there too, maybe some water lily? I don’t know, I’m not a perfume expert, but it was nice! Reminded me of walking through a fancy garden.
Trying out more
- Crystal Gardenia Citrus: After Crystal Gardenia, I tried the Citrus version. This one was a bit different. It still had that gardenia base, but there was a hint of orange in there. I guess it’s made for the Asian market because it felt lighter and more refreshing, perfect for summer.
- Crystal Violet Musk: Next, I went for Crystal Violet Musk. This one was supposed to be relaxing, and I think it was. It was less floral than the others and a bit musky, but in a good way. It made me feel calm and chill, like after a good yoga session.
What I learned
So, what did I learn from my little perfume adventure? Well, first, these perfumes are not cheap. But, they do smell really good. It’s not just about the pretty bottles; the scents are actually high-quality. It’s clear that Kim K put a lot of effort into these. I read somewhere that she was rebranding her KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance lines into SKKN, so I guess these crystal perfumes might be going away soon? Or maybe they’ll come back under the new brand? Who knows!
Final thoughts
Overall, I’m glad I tried them. I felt like a celebrity for a little while, haha. If you’re into floral scents and want to treat yourself to something fancy, I’d say go for it. Just be prepared to splurge a bit. I mean, it’s Kim Kardashian, so you know it’s not going to be cheap. But hey, sometimes you just gotta treat yourself, right?
I also heard that when Kim was developing these scents, her signature scent was Tom Ford’s Black Orchid. That’s a really complex and luxurious fragrance, so it makes sense that she’d want her own perfumes to be just as amazing.
Anyway, that’s my experience with Kim Kardashian’s crystal perfumes. Hope you found it helpful! Or at least entertaining. Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried them and what you thought!
