Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Cartier South Coast Plaza place. It’s fancy, real fancy, like somethin’ you see on them TV shows. I ain’t never been there myself, mind you, but I heard folks talkin’. They say it’s got all sorts of shiny stuff, like jewelry and watches. Must be nice for them rich folks.
Now, what’s this Cartier all about? Seems like they make these things called “jewelry creations.” Sounds mighty important, don’t it? And watches too. Not the kind I wear, mind you, the ones with the little chickens on ’em. These are the fancy kind, the ones that cost more than my whole house prob’ly.
- They got rings, I hear. Big ones, small ones, shiny ones, all sorts.
- And necklaces too, the kind that sparkle in the sun.
- And bracelets, and earrings, and all that jazz. Lordy, it’s enough to make your head spin.
I reckon if you got a lotta money, this is the place to go spend it. They say it’s “renowned worldwide,” whatever that means. Sounds like a lot of folks know about it, though. Must be good stuff, I guess. But for an old lady like me, I can’t even imagine what those prices must be like. It’s probably the kind of money that could feed a whole town for a year, maybe even more. Makes you think, don’t it? All that money on somethin’ just to make you look pretty.
But hey, to each their own, I always say. If folks wanna spend their hard-earned cash on shiny things, that’s their business. Me, I’d rather buy a new hen house or maybe a good pair of boots. Somethin’ useful, you know?
This store, they say it’s open all week, except Sundays. From mornin’ till night, practically. Guess them rich folks gotta shop sometime, even if it’s late. I bet it’s all bright and sparkly inside, like one of them Christmas trees they put up in town square. Must be a sight to see, even if you ain’t buyin’ nothin’. Just to look at all that fancy stuff, it’d be somethin’ else.
They got these things called “storied pieces,” the folks were saying. Now, I ain’t sure what that means exactly, but it sounds important. Like maybe them shiny things got a history to ’em or somethin’. Maybe they belonged to some king or queen way back when. Who knows? It’s all a bit too fancy for me, to be honest.
If you’re ever in that Costa Mesa place, you could go take a look. See what all the fuss is about. They say you can just go in and “browse,” which means look around without buyin’ nothin’. I reckon they got security guards though, makin’ sure you don’t go runnin’ off with them diamond rings. Can’t blame ’em, I guess. Them things prob’ly cost more than my whole farm.
And they got stuff for men too, not just women. Watches and rings and I don’t know what all. Guess them rich fellas wanna look fancy too. It’s a whole different world, I tell ya. A world of sparkle and shine and money I can’t even fathom. I stick to my chickens and my garden. That’s fancy enough for me. But it’s interesting to hear about, ain’t it? Makes you wonder how them other folks live. Makes you appreciate what you got, even if it ain’t much. Cause at the end of the day, it ain’t the shiny things that matter, it’s the good folks around ya. That’s what I always say.
So, there you have it. That’s what I know about this Cartier South Coast Plaza place. Not much, maybe, but enough to make you think. Enough to make you wonder. And maybe, just maybe, enough to make you wanna go see it for yourself. But don’t go spendin’ all your money now, ya hear? Save some for a rainy day, cause them shiny things ain’t gonna keep ya warm when the winter comes.
