This year, that Archie and Lilibet, them two little ones, they’re all the talk, you know. 2024, it’s their year, I reckon. They’re Harry and Meghan’s kids, living it up in California. Far from all that royal fuss in England. That big house they got, cost a fortune, I hear. But they keep them kids out of the spotlight, mostly.

They don’t show many pictures of Archie and Lilibet, not since they left the royal life in 2020. Trying to give them a normal life, I suppose. Privacy, they call it. They live in a place called Montecito, sounds fancy, huh? But even living so far away, that King Charles, he’s their grandpa, you know, he won’t forget them. I hear he wants to see them, talk to them, especially during holidays.
Christmas Card
They sent out a Christmas card, 2024 one, with pictures. Not many, just a few. Archie and Lilibet were in one of them, I heard. People were excited, ’cause you don’t see them much. They keep things private, Harry and Meghan do. But folks always want to know what those kids are up to. It is rare to see Archie and Lilibet, so I understand people’s excitement.
That Christmas card, it’s a big deal, I guess. Gives a little peek into their lives. Archie, he’s 5 now, I think. And Lilibet, she’s 3. Time flies, don’t it? They say Lilibet, she’s got a cute smile and curly hair.

Harry, he talked about Archie and Lilibet in some interview, I heard. Said they’re growing up fast. Well, of course, they are! Kids do that, don’t they? Even royal ones. Or used to be royal, I guess. It’s all so confusing these days.
But one thing’s for sure, Archie and Lilibet, they’re loved. You can see that. Even if they don’t show them off much. Family’s family, no matter where you live or what fancy titles you got, or don’t got.
Staying Out of the Spotlight
Living in Montecito, that’s a far cry from Buckingham Palace, ain’t it? But maybe it’s better for them kids. Less fuss, less cameras in their faces. They can just be kids, you know? Run around, play, get dirty. Like kids should.
I don’t know much about this California place, but it sounds sunny. Good for kids, I suppose. Better than that dreary English weather. Though, I hear England’s got its charms too. Never been there myself.
It’s good they keep them out of the spotlight, though. Too much attention ain’t good for nobody, especially little ones. Let them have a childhood, I say. Before they get caught up in all that grown-up stuff.
Harry and Meghan, they’re doing what they think is best. Can’t fault them for that. Every parent wants the best for their kids. And them two, they got a lot to think about. Being in the public eye like that, it’s gotta be tough.
But those kids, Archie and Lilibet, they’ll be alright. They got a good family, even if it’s a bit spread out. And they got each other. That’s what matters, in the end.
Growing Up in California
Growing up in California, that’ll be different for them. Different from what their daddy went through, I reckon. He grew up in a palace, with all them rules and such. These two, they’ll have a different kind of life.
Maybe they’ll learn to surf! Or ride horses. Or whatever it is kids do in California. It’ll be an adventure for them, that’s for sure. And who knows, maybe one day they’ll go back to England. Visit their grandpa, see where their daddy grew up.
But for now, they’re just kids. Archie and Lilibet, living their lives in California. And that’s all that matters. Let them be kids, I say. Let them grow up happy and healthy. The rest will sort itself out.
Well, that’s all I got to say about that. Just my thoughts, you know. An old lady’s ramblings. But I like to keep up with things, even if I don’t always understand them. And them two kids, Archie and Lilibet, they’re something special. You can just tell. 2024 and every year.
