Alright, let me tell ya ’bout these AF1 All Blue shoes, ya know, the ones the young folks are all crazy about. I seen ’em around, and my grandson, he’s got a pair, always stompin’ around in ’em. So, I figured, what the heck, let’s see what all the fuss is about.
First off, they’re blue, real blue, like the sky on a clear summer day. I reckon that’s why they call ’em “All Blue”, ain’t no rocket science there. They got that swoosh thing on the side, everybody knows that swoosh, it’s on all them Nike shoes. My grandson says it’s a big deal, this swoosh. Kids these days, always gotta have the fancy brands.
Now, these shoes, they ain’t light as a feather, that’s for sure. They feel kinda heavy on your feet, like you got bricks tied to ’em. But my grandson, he says that’s how they supposed to be, sturdy and all. He wears ’em everywhere, says they’re comfortable enough for walkin’ around town, goin’ to the store, even standin’ in line for them new video games he’s always after. But I don’t think it’s the shoe for all day standing or heavy work, your feet are going to complain about it after a while.
I tried ’em on once, just to see, you know? Felt kinda clunky to me, like wearin’ boats on your feet. But they got good cushionin’, I gotta give ’em that. My grandson says that’s important, makes ’em good for walkin’ a lot. He says he wears them to school and after-school activities, and they’re pretty good. But I reckon if you gotta stand all day long, like at Disneyland or some such place, your feet gonna start hurtin’. Too heavy for all that, I tell ya.
- Looks: They’re blue, real blue. Got that swoosh thing.
- Feel: Heavy, like bricks. But cushiony inside.
- Good For: Walkin’ around, goin’ to the store, short trips.
- Not Good For: Standin’ all day long, workin’ hard.
I heard these shoes been around for a long time, like forty years or somethin’. That’s a long time for shoes, I tell ya. Back in my day, shoes didn’t last that long, we wore ’em till they fell apart. But these youngsters, they gotta have the latest and greatest, always buyin’ new shoes.
My grandson, he says these AF1 shoes are real popular, everybody wants ’em. He says they’re “classic” and some people collect them, different colors and all. He’s got a whole bunch of them, all lined up in his closet, like they’re some kinda treasure. I don’t get it, but I guess that’s what young folks do these days. To me they all look the same, heavy and blue in this case.
And talkin’ about colors, there’s a whole rainbow of these shoes, not just blue. But the blue ones, them’s the ones everybody wants, seems like. My grandson, he says it’s because they’re “clean” and goes with everything. He keeps saying “hype” this and “nostalgia” that, I don’t know what half the words mean but they do look alright with his jeans.
Now, I seen my grandson cleanin’ his shoes, gotta keep ’em lookin’ nice, he says. He got all these fancy brushes and cleaners, spends more time cleanin’ them shoes than he does wearin’ ’em, I swear. But I guess if you gonna spend all that money on shoes, you gotta take care of ’em, right?
So, are these AF1 All Blue shoes worth all the fuss? I dunno, depends on who you ask. My grandson, he loves ’em, says they’re the best shoes ever. Me, I think they’re too heavy and too expensive. But hey, what do I know? I’m just an old lady, I wear what’s comfortable, not what’s fashionable. But if you’re young and you like blue, and you have money to spend then go ahead and get them. They look good with jeans and will last a good while if you take care of them, like my grandson does.
In short, these shoes are blue, heavy, and popular. They’re good for walkin’ around, but not for standin’ all day. And they cost a pretty penny, that’s for sure. But if you want to be like all the other youngsters, I guess you gotta have a pair. Just don’t come cryin’ to me when your feet start hurtin’.
