Alright, let’s talk about this Ilia Beauty thing, you know, the makeup stuff. I heard some folks sayin’ somethin’ about who owns it now. It’s like this, some big shot family, the Courtin-Clarins, they went and bought it. Yeah, them Clarins folks, the ones with all them fancy French creams and whatnot. They got deep pockets, those folks do. Heard they paid a whole bunch of money for it, but nobody’s tellin’ exactly how much. Secretive bunch, I tell ya.
Now, this Ilia, they say it’s “clean” beauty. What that means, I ain’t exactly sure. Guess it’s supposed to be better for ya, less of them chemicals and stuff. Makes a gal wonder what’s in all them other makeups, huh? Anyway, this Ilia stuff, most of it’s made right here in the States. ‘Cept for a few things, like that lip oil stuff, they make that up in Canada. And the brushes, them’s made all the way over in China. Then there’s some other bits and pieces, like that face mist and eye goop, they make that over in Italy. Goes to show ya, things come from all over these days.

So, this Clarins family, they own Ilia now. They got a fella named Paul somethin’-or-other, he’s the big boss at Ilia now. Used to be some lady named Lynda runnin’ things, but she’s steppin’ down, just givin’ advice now. Guess she done her part. And this Paul fella, he’s talkin’ about sellin’ Ilia all over the world. More money for them Clarins folks, I reckon. They already got that Clarins brand, now they got Ilia too. Must be nice havin’ all that money.
I heard tell there was a lawyer lady, Alisa Won, she helped Ilia sell itself to them Clarins folks. Lawyers, always in the middle of things, ain’t they? Seems like they make a pretty penny too. But that’s how these big deals go down. One group sells, another group buys, and everybody makes their money. That’s just how it is, ain’t nothin’ new under the sun.
So, to sum it all up, if you’re wonderin’ who owns Ilia Beauty, it’s them Courtin-Clarins folks. They’re the big bosses now. And they’re plannin’ on makin’ it even bigger, sellin’ it all over the world. Good for them, I guess. Me, I’m just stickin’ with my same old powder and lipstick. Don’t need all that fancy stuff. But it’s interesting to know who’s who and what’s what, right? Keeps a gal informed, even if she ain’t gonna buy none of it. That’s the long and short of it, plain and simple, just like I told ya.
