Alright, so, I gotta tell you about this whole Snoopy MoonSwatch thing. It all started when I saw a post from Swatch. They dropped these official images of a new Omega x Swatch Moonswatch, and I was like, “Whoa, I gotta get my hands on that!”
I’d been hearing rumors about a Snoopy MoonSwatch for a while, and this one was it. It’s called the “Mission to the Moonphase,” and it’s got this cool moonphase thing instead of the usual chronograph at three o’clock. This new one is all white, just like the Full Moon version they did before, but there is also this all-black version called “New Moon” that looks pretty slick. I was so excited and I marked the release date on my calendar.
On the release day, I went to the Swatch store, and there was already a huge line. People were camping out and everything! I waited for hours, chatting with other watch nerds in line. It was actually pretty fun, swapping stories about other watches we’ve collected.
Finally, I got to the front of the line and managed to snag one. It has Snoopy in the little sub-register, just like some of the older models. But the way they integrated the moonphase is just genius. When I got home, I spent hours just staring at it. I even took it to a local watch meet-up, and everyone was losing their minds over it. It’s definitely one of the coolest pieces in my collection now.
