Alright, so, I decided to recreate the whole Drake “Hotline Bling” look. You know, that music video where he’s dancing all goofy in that grey turtleneck and sweatpants? Yeah, that one. I figured, why not? It looked comfy and kinda iconic, so I went for it.
First things first, I needed that grey turtleneck. I didn’t have one, so I went on a little shopping adventure. Found a decent one after checking a few stores, nothing fancy, just a plain grey turtleneck. It wasn’t too hard to find, really.
- Get a grey turtleneck
- Get some grey sweatpants
- Find some work boots
Next up, the sweatpants. I already had a pair of grey ones, thankfully. They weren’t an exact match to Drake’s, but close enough. I mean, who’s gonna notice, right? I put them on with the turtleneck, and honestly, I was feeling pretty cozy. It’s a simple outfit, but it works.
Now, for the shoes. In the video, Drake’s wearing these tan-colored work boots. I didn’t have anything like that, so I just wore my regular sneakers. I know, I know, it’s not a perfect match, but I was going for the vibe, not a perfect replica. I started practicing those Drake dance moves in front of the mirror. It was hilarious, to say the least. I’m no dancer, but I gave it my best shot. It was all in good fun, you know?
My Own Hotline Bling
I even filmed a little video of myself dancing in the outfit, just for laughs. I sent it to a few friends, and they got a good kick out of it. I gotta say, it was a fun little experiment. Dressing up like Drake and trying to mimic his dance moves was a good way to kill some time and have a few laughs.
Honestly, the whole thing was more about having fun than anything else. It’s not every day you get to dress up like a famous rapper and dance around like a goofball. It was a nice little break from the usual routine.
So yeah, that’s my “Hotline Bling” outfit story. Nothing too crazy, just a regular guy trying to recreate a famous music video look for the fun of it. And you know what? I’d totally do it again. Maybe next time I’ll try another one of his outfits.
