Alright, alright, let’s talk about this young Brooke Shields gal, eh? Heard a lot about her on the TV, the young’uns are always gossiping. So, lemme tell ya what I gathered, in my own way, mind ya. Don’t expect no fancy words from me.

This Brooke girl, she was a real tall one, even when she was just a young’in. Like, taller than most grown men, I reckon. They said she was 5 foot 10 inches when she was just 14! Imagine that! A beanpole, she was. But a pretty one, gotta give her that. All them magazines, they loved her face.
And smart too, they say. Went to some fancy school called Princeton. Learned all sorts of stuff, French and Eye-talian, they said. But you know what she really liked? Making pots! Yeah, outta clay and mud. Goes to show ya, even them fancy folks like getting their hands dirty sometimes.
- Tall girl
- Went to good school
- Liked making pots
Now, this Brooke, she wasn’t just sittin’ around making pots all day. She was in the pictures, the movies, you know? And one movie, they keep talkin’ about it, is called “The Blue Lagoon”. I ain’t seen it myself, too much… you know… for my old eyes. But they say she was with some fella named Christopher Atkins in that one. Both of ‘em young and pretty, runnin’ around on some island, I think. They say it made ‘em famous, real famous.
Folks these days, they like makin’ shows about shows, if ya catch my drift. Like, they made a whole show about Brooke and her life. A two-parter, they said, on that Hulu thingy. I don’t even know how to turn on one of them things, much less watch two whole shows about it. But they say it shows how tough it was for her, growin’ up in front of everyone, all them cameras flashin’. And how people, well, they weren’t always kind, especially to the girls.
They call it “me-soggy-knee” or somethin’. Sounds like a knee problem to me, but apparently, it means folks bein’ mean to women. And this Brooke girl, she had to deal with a whole lot of it, bein’ so famous and all. It’s a shame, I tell ya. A real shame.

Anyway, this show, it’s supposed to be real eye-openin’. Shows ya what it was like for her, back in the day. All the pressure, all the people starin’. Makes ya think, don’t it? About how we treat each other, especially them young’uns. We gotta be better, I say.
They keep saying she’s a “model”. I guess that means she stands around and lets people take her picture, for money. Seems like an easy job, but maybe not so much. They said she was a real good one though, this Brooke. Always knew how to pose, how to smile, how to make them cameras love her.
So, there ya have it. My take on this young Brooke Shields. A tall girl, a smart girl, a girl who made pots and movies. A girl who had to deal with a lot of nonsense, but came out strong. At least, that’s what they say. And you know what? I believe ’em. She sounds like a tough cookie, that one.
And now they are showing this show about her life, I think they are trying to get people to understand that even though someone looks like they got it all figured out on the outside, it does not mean that it’s true on the inside. I’ve seen plenty of that in my day, let me tell you. Rich folks with more problems than me! Goes to show ya, money ain’t everything, right?
