Alright, alright, let’s gab about them womens extremely short shorts, you know, the ones that barely cover your behind. I seen ‘em all over the place lately, young gals wearin’ ’em, even some older ladies too, bless their hearts.
Now, I ain’t no fashion expert, mind you. I just wear what’s comfy and what I can find on sale. But these short shorts, they somethin’ else. Some of ’em are so short, I swear you could see what the good Lord gave ya. And some of ’em are so tight, you wonder how them gals can even breathe, let alone sit down.
- Denim Short Shorts: You got your denim ones, them blue jean kinda shorts. Those been around forever, I reckon. But these new ones, they ain’t like the ones we used to wear. They are shorter, tighter, and sometimes they got all sorts of rips and tears in ‘em. Makes me think the gals just got caught on a barbed wire fence or somethin’.
- Linen Short Shorts: Then there’s them linen ones, the ones that look kinda fancy. They’re supposed to be cooler, I guess, for when it’s hotter than a skillet in July. But they wrinkle somethin’ awful. You gotta iron ‘em, and who has time for that these days?
- Printed Short Shorts: And the printed ones, oh my! Flowers, stripes, polka dots, you name it, they got it. Some of ‘em are pretty, I gotta admit. But some of ‘em, well, they look like a dog threw up a rainbow.
I seen some of these shorts on sale at the store the other day. And I thought to myself, “Who in their right mind would pay good money for that little scrap of fabric?” But then I see these young girls wearin’ ’em, strutting around like they own the place. And I guess, if they feel good in ‘em, then more power to ‘em.
Now, where you can find these womens extremely short shorts? Well, seems like everywhere you look these days. Department stores, them big fancy places like Macy’s and Nordstrom. They have racks and racks of ’em, all different colors and styles. And the prices, they can be somethin’ else too. Some of ’em cost more than a whole outfit used to back in my day.
You can also find them shorts online, on them internet websites. I ain’t too savvy with that internet stuff, but my grandbaby showed me once. You just type in what you’re lookin’ for, and boom, there it is. Thousands of shorts, pictures of gals wearin’ ’em, and you can order ’em right then and there, without even leavin’ your house. Now, ain’t that somethin’? But you gotta be careful, I hear. Sometimes them pictures ain’t what they seem, and you end up gettin’ somethin’ that don’t fit or that looks cheap and trashy.
And then there’s them clearance racks, that’s where I like to shop. You can find some good deals if you’re willin’ to dig around a bit. Sometimes them shorts are marked down so low, you’d be a fool not to buy ‘em, even if you don’t need ‘em. I got a whole drawer full of clothes I bought on clearance, stuff I ain’t never even worn. But hey, it was a good deal!
So, what’s the deal with these womens extremely short shorts? Are they here to stay? I don’t know, and frankly, I don’t much care. Fashion changes so fast these days, it’s hard to keep up. One minute somethin’s in, the next minute it’s out. But one thing’s for sure, these short shorts are definitely makin’ a statement. Whether it’s a good statement or a bad statement, well, that’s up to you to decide. Me, I’ll just stick to my comfy pants and leave them short shorts to the young folks.
But I tell you what, if you’re gonna wear ’em, make sure you got the legs for it. And for goodness sake, bend over carefully! Nobody wants to see more than they bargained for, you hear? And make sure they fit right. Too tight and you’ll look like a sausage, too loose and they’ll be fallin’ off. And for crying out loud, don’t wear ‘em to church. There’s a time and a place for everything, and short shorts at church just ain’t right.
So there you have it, my two cents on these womens extremely short shorts. Take it or leave it, I don’t care. I’m just an old woman who’s seen a lot of fashion trends come and go. And these short shorts, well, they’re just another one on the list.
