Well, I gotta tell ya, this fella, Waraire Boswell, he up and died. Just like that. They say it was July 31, 2024. Ain’t that somethin’? He was only 48 years young, too. Too young, I say.
Now, this Waraire, he made clothes. Fancy clothes, they say. Suits, they called ’em. Not the kind you wear to church on Sunday, mind you. These were for them basketball fellas, big shots like LeBron James and that Kobe Bryant, God rest his soul. Waraire, he had his own name on them clothes, a “brand” they call it. Started it way back in 2002, I heard.
- He made clothes for big basketball players.
- His brand started in 2002.
- He died young, at 48.
They sayin’ he was a “bespoke” designer. Don’t know what that means, sounds like somethin’ you’d say when you’re tryin’ to sound fancy. But from what I gather, he made them suits special, just for them fellas. Like, he’d measure ’em up and down and make somethin’ that fit ’em just right. Guess that’s why them basketball stars liked him so much.
Now, nobody’s sayin’ exactly what killed him. They’re keepin’ it hush-hush, sayin’ he had a “private battle.” What’s that supposed to mean? Sounds like he was sick, but they don’t wanna say what with. Maybe it was somethin’ embarrassing, who knows? These city folks, they got their secrets.
They put somethin’ on that “Insta-gram,” that’s what the young’uns use, sayin’ he passed. Said he was “beloved,” too. Well, I guess he must’ve been a good fella if folks loved him. He sure made them basketball players look sharp, that’s for sure. Always seein’ ’em on TV, lookin’ all spiffy in them suits. Never thought about who made ’em, though. Guess that was Waraire’s job.
It’s a shame, really. A young fella like that, makin’ a name for himself, then poof, he’s gone. Just makes you think, don’t it? Life’s short, that’s what my mama always used to say. You gotta make the most of it, ’cause you never know when your time’s gonna come.
Folks are sharin’ their “condolences,” that’s what they call it. Sayin’ they’re sorry for his family, the Boswells. They got an “obituary” online, whatever that is. Guess it’s like a write-up about his life. I ain’t never had no online obituary, but then again, I ain’t nobody special like Waraire.
So, that’s the story, as far as I know it. Waraire Boswell, the suit maker, he died. Nobody’s sayin’ why, but he’s gone. Left behind a whole lotta suits, I reckon. And a whole lotta folks sad to see him go. Makes you wonder, don’t it? What kinda mark we gonna leave behind when it’s our time?
Makes you think about them fancy clothes and all that money. In the end, ain’t none of it matters, does it? When you’re gone, you’re gone. Just memories left, that’s all.
Anyhow, that’s all I got to say about this Waraire fella. Sad story, but that’s life, I guess. Here today, gone tomorrow. Just like that.
