Well, I don’t know much about fancy stuff, but I heard tell about some fellas, actors they call ’em, walking down a stage like they own the place. This was for some big-shot company, Prada, I think they called it. Folks were makin’ a big fuss about it, so I figured I’d try to make sense of it all.
Now, these actors, they ain’t your goody-two-shoes types. They play the bad guys, the villains, you know? Like that fella, Gary Oldman. I seen him in a movie once, played a real mean character. Scared me half to death, he did. And then there’s Willem Dafoe. He’s got that creepy look about him, always makes me think he’s up to no good. Folks say he was one of them Green Goblin fellas in some spider movie.
Anyways, Prada, they got these fellas to wear their clothes, walk down a runway, whatever that is. It was back in 2012, they say. Must’ve been a sight to see, all these bad guys strutting their stuff. They called it the “Villains Runway“, which makes sense, I guess. It wasn’t just Oldman and Dafoe, though. There was a whole bunch of ’em. Adrien Brody, Tim Roth, some other names I can’t rightly remember. All them fellas known for playin’ the villains, you see.
- Gary Oldman
- Willem Dafoe
- Adrien Brody
- Tim Roth
- Emile Hirsch
- Garrett Hedlund
- Jamie Bell
This Prada company, they didn’t use no regular models, you know, the pretty boys and girls. Nope, they wanted the bad guys. Said it was “East German-inspired,” whatever that means. Looked like somethin’ out of an old movie, I reckon. All dark and serious-like. Some folks even said it looked like a steampunk thing, with them old-timey clothes and all.
I hear tell it was a big deal in the fashion world. Folks in Milan, Italy, were goin’ crazy over it. Milan Fashion Week, they called it. Sounds fancy, don’t it? And even now, years later, people are still talkin’ about it. Seen some chatter on that Twitter thing, folks sharin’ pictures and whatnot. Guess it made a real impression, this Villains Runway.
Now, I don’t know nothin’ about fashion. I wear what’s comfortable and what keeps me warm. But even I can see that this was somethin’ different. Prada takin’ these villain actors, puttin’ ’em in their clothes, makin’ a whole show out of it. It’s clever, I guess. Gets people talkin’, that’s for sure.
And it ain’t just the old folks rememberin’ this. Even the young’uns, these K-pop stars and such, they were there too, watchin’ the show. Seems like everyone wanted to see them bad guys walk the runway. It’s funny how things work, ain’t it? These fellas spend their careers bein’ bad, and then they get famous for it, even gettin’ to wear fancy clothes and strut around on a stage.
So, that’s the story as I understand it. Prada, villains, runway, fancy clothes, and a whole lot of fuss. Don’t ask me to explain it any better than that, ‘cause I ain’t got no more words for it. Just a bunch of actors playin’ dress-up, far as I can tell. But hey, if it gets folks excited, then good for them, I say.
Prada fall 2012 was different. It was like looking at some kind of poster. It had a lot of bad guys, but they weren’t so bad, just walking like they owned the place. I never really paid attention to fashion before, not since high school at least, but this caught my eye.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but
I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never
understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me.
I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang
of it!
I do believe all of the ideas you’ve introduced in your post.
They’re very convincing and will definitely work.
Still, the posts are too short for starters. Could you please prolong them a little from next time?
Thanks for the post.

My brother recommended I might like this blog. He used to be entirely
right. This post actually made my day. You can not consider just how so
much time I had spent for this info! Thank you!
It’s in point of fact a great and helpful piece of info.
I’m happy that you just shared this useful info with us.
Please stay us up to date like this. Thanks for sharing.
I think what you said was very logical. But, what about this?
what if you were to write a killer title? I ain’t suggesting your
content is not solid, however what if you
added a post title that makes people desire more? I mean Unpacking Dafoes Villains and Their Connection with
High Fashion Prada – Glamour Gazette is a little plain.
You ought to glance at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they create article titles
to grab people interested. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to get people interested about everything’ve written.
Just my opinion, it might make your blog a little bit
more interesting.
Thanks for your advice
