Alright, let’s talk about this REM Beauty thing, you know, the makeup stuff. Folks keep askin’ who owns it, like it’s some big secret. Well, it ain’t no secret, it’s Ariana Grande’s thing, that little singer girl with the big voice. Yeah, her. She made it.

And get this, they got a new boss lady runnin’ things now, a woman named Michelle Shigemasa. They say she knows a whole heap about makeup, been doin’ it for over twenty years. Guess Ariana needed someone to keep an eye on things, make sure the powders ain’t clumpy and the mascara don’t run.
People keep askin’ where they make all this stuff. Well, they say it’s made right here in the USA, and some of it over in Italy, too. Fancy places, I reckon. They say they make it real good, the best they can, so it don’t mess up your face or nothin’.
Now, some folks are wonderin’ if this REM Beauty stuff is any good. Well, I ain’t tried it myself, I’m too old for all that paintin’ and powderin’. But I hear it’s pretty popular, young girls like it. They say it helps you look all pretty and whatnot. And that’s all that matters, right? If it makes you feel good about yourself then it’s good stuff.
And you know what else? People keep comparin’ it to this other makeup, Rare Beauty, I think it’s called. Owned by another one of them young singers, Selena somethin’-or-other. Seems like everyone’s got a makeup line these days. But Ariana, she was one of the first, so good on her, I say. It’s a tough world out there and you gotta hustle.
Oh, and them folks down in Australia, they keep askin’ when they can get their hands on this REM Beauty stuff. Seems like they like Ariana down there too. Well, I reckon they’ll get it soon enough. They can’t keep good makeup away from folks who want it, can they?

I also heard somethin’ about REM beauty bein’ connected to some big company called Forma. Apparently, Forma owns Morphe, another makeup brand, and they helped Ariana get started. Seems like these celebrities don’t always do everything themselves, they get a little help from the big guys. But hey, as long as the makeup’s good, who cares who owns what, right?
So yeah, that’s the long and short of it. It’s Ariana’s brand, she’s got fancy investors, a new CEO, and it’s made in good places. Now go on and buy yourself some lipstick, if that’s what makes you happy.
