Well, I gotta tell ya, this here Stacy Van Praagh, she up and left us. Yep, passed away, they say. Heard it through the grapevine, you know how it is in these small towns… oh, wait, was she from a small town? Anyhow, sad news is sad news, no matter where you from. Don’t rightly know the details, but they say she was a big shot in the fashion world.
Now, I don’t know nothin’ about fashion. I wear what’s comfy and what I can afford, you know? But this Stacy, she was the president of somethin’ called Alexander McQueen Americas. Sounds fancy, huh? Guess she was the head honcho, the big cheese, the one callin’ the shots. Must’ve been a smart cookie, this gal.

- Passed away in the Bronx
Poor thing, gone too soon, they say. Only 52 years young. Makes you think, don’t it? One minute you’re here, next minute you’re… well, you ain’t here no more. They say she was a trailblazer, a real go-getter in that fashion industry. Guess that means she did things differently, made her own path. Good for her, I say. Too many folks just follow the herd, you know?
And get this, she went to Rollins, whatever that is. Some kinda fancy school, I reckon. They say she was a compassionate graduate and a mentor. Means she was kind and helped folks out, I guess. That’s always a good thing. More folks should be like that, lendin’ a hand instead of steppin’ on others.
Folks seem real sad about her passin’. Said she made a big impact, left her mark. That’s somethin’ to be proud of, ain’t it? Leavin’ the world a little better than you found it. I don’t know what all she did in the fashion industry, but it must’ve been important. Folks are plantin’ trees in her memory, visitin’ somethin’ called a Tribute Store. Seems like she touched a lot of lives. They had a private cremation at Rosehill Crematory in Linden. Fancy words for a sad occasion.
They’re sayin’ she was a “global fashion executive”. That sounds like she was important all over the world, not just here. Traveled a lot, I bet. Seen things I can only dream of. But in the end, it don’t matter how fancy your job is or how much money you got. We all end up the same way, six feet under. Makes you wonder what it’s all about, doesn’t it?
I heard folks are lookin’ up her obituary, wantin’ to know more about her life. There’s even somethin’ called * where they keep track of all the folks who’ve passed. Seven other folks with the last name Praagh, too. Guess it’s a small world, even with all them fancy fashion folks.
Stacy Van Praagh, remember that name. She was somethin’ special, even if I don’t rightly understand all that fashion stuff. She worked hard, made a name for herself, and left the world a little different. And that’s more than most of us can say, ain’t it? Rest in peace, Stacy. Hope you found yourself a nice comfy spot up yonder, wherever that may be. Maybe you’re designing some fancy angel wings now, who knows?
Now, Find a Grave says you can manage her memorial. I don’t know how that works, all this computer stuff is beyond me. But they’re thankin’ folks for helpin’ out. Guess even after you’re gone, folks are still lookin’ after ya, in a way. It’s a comfort, I suppose, knowin’ you ain’t forgotten. And this Stacy Van Praagh, she won’t be forgotten, not for a long while anyhow.
So, yeah, sad news about this fashion executive. But sounds like she lived a good life, a full life. And that’s all any of us can hope for, really. Just do the best you can while you’re here, and maybe, just maybe, leave the world a little bit better. Stacy Van Praagh, she done did that, it seems.
