Okay, so, 2020, what a year, right? I was watching this movie, “Snatched”, and let me tell you, it was something else. It’s this action-comedy flick from 2017, written by Katie Dippold and directed by Jonathan Levine.
So the movie starts, and this girl gets dumped by her boyfriend. Bummer, right? But then things get crazy. I gotta say, this movie is all over the place, kind of episodic, jumping from one wild scene to the next.
I was really impressed by the actors in this movie. They really made the whole thing work, even when the jokes were, shall we say, a bit much. The humor is definitely on the gross-out side of things. Lots of stuff that’ll make you go “Ewww” but in a funny way, if that makes sense.
The movie has some pretty dark humor too. There are some scenes with, like, women being treated badly, kind of a commentary on how some cultures treat women, you know? It gets pretty serious for a comedy sometimes.
- Watched the movie “Snatched”.
- Noticed it was super episodic.
- Laughed a lot at the gross-out humor.
- Felt a little weird about some of the darker jokes.
- Thought the acting was top-notch.
I watched the whole darn thing. It kept me entertained, that’s for sure. I mean, it wasn’t perfect, but it was definitely an experience. You see all kinds of crazy stuff happening, and it keeps you guessing what’s gonna happen next.
Overall, I’d say “Snatched” was a wild ride. Lots of laughs, some cringes, and a whole lot of “what did I just watch?” moments. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you’re in the mood for something completely out there, this might be your jam.
This movie really lived up to its name.
