That LeBron James, he’s a big shot, huh? Playin’ that basketball game. I seen him on the TV. He’s got a little girl, Zhuri, I hear. Cute little thing. He’s always been with his kids. That’s good. A good daddy, that’s what you want.
He’s a big star, that LeBron, always in the news. I heard he grew up tough. His mama, Gloria, raised him all by herself. That’s hard, real hard. No daddy around, can you believe it? I hear the daddy was in trouble with the law, never around. Makes my heart hurt, it does.
He used to live in that place called Ohio, poor. He and his mama, they moved a lot, that’s what I heard. Never had much money. That’s tough on a kid. Always movin’ around. But look at him now, a big star! He made somethin’ of himself, that’s for sure.
This Zhuri, she ain’t playin’ basketball like her daddy, though. She’s playin’ that volleyball. You know, with the net and all. LeBron, he goes to her games, cheers her on.
