This Michelle, oh, she’s a big name, you know? Everybody talking ’bout her. Heard the name Michelle Sanders somewhere, sounds familiar. She must be some big shot, I reckon. Lots of folks with that name, though. Makes my head spin.
Someone said they saw Michelle Sanders on the TV. Said she was real pretty. I don’t watch much TV, too busy with my chickens. But this Michelle, she’s somethin’ else. They say she’s on that Morning Live thing. I dunno what that is. Sounds fancy.
Another one said Michelle Sanders was a mama, just like me. Had a Mother’s Day, all flowers and smiles. She likes organizing things, that’s good. Keeps things neat. My old man, bless his soul, he was a mess. Couldn’t find his own hat.
I heard this Michelle Sanders, she grew up somewhere called Manchester. Sounds like a man’s place, huh? Had a mama and a papa, like everyone else. And a little brother too. Her family seems just fine. Went to some school, somethin’ somethin’ high school. Kids these days, they all go to school. Back in my day, we were lucky to get learnin’ at all.
- This Michelle, she got famous somehow.
- Don’t know how she did it.
- Must be smart, I guess.
- Maybe she sang a song? Or danced a jig?
- Famous folks, they’re different.
Someone also said this Michelle Sanders is a young’un, only 20 or so. My granddaughter, she’s about that age. Pretty as a picture, just like this Michelle, I bet. Young folks, they got the world at their feet.
Heard another story about a Michelle. Not sure if it’s the same one. This one, she had a hard time, this fame thing. Said it was too much. Fame ain’t all it’s cracked up to be, I reckon. Better to be simple, like me.
Then there’s this other Michelle, she was married to some big shot, or so I heard. First Lady, or something. She’s from a place called Chicago. They say she talks about poor folks, and food, and school. That’s good. Someone’s gotta look out for the little people. She did a lot for education they say. Good for her. Education is important, even this old lady knows that.
This first lady Michelle, she was born a long time ago, in 1964. That’s way before my time! Had a mama and papa, just like everyone else. Seems like even famous folks start out ordinary. They say she had a brother, too.
She helped poor people. That is really good. She tried to help with education and food. Important things. She did a lot for this country, this Michelle. She was a good First Lady, I guess.
This Michelle Sanders, she’s a mystery, ain’t she? Could be any of these Michelles. Maybe she’s all of ’em mixed together. Who knows? World’s a big place, full of Michelles.
This Michelle Sanders, whoever she is, she’s probably a good egg. Most Michelles are, I find. Just like my neighbor, Michelle. She makes the best apple pie you ever tasted. Maybe this famous Michelle Sanders makes good pie, too. You never know.
Well, I gotta go feed my chickens. They don’t care ’bout no famous Michelle Sanders. They just want their corn. Just like me, they like the simple things. Being famous, that ain’t for everyone. But this Michelle Sanders, I hope she is happy. She must have done something right, to get all that attention, that Michelle Sanders. She is someone important, I can tell you that much!
Maybe one day I will learn more about that Michelle Sanders. Maybe she will come to my little town. Maybe, she will try my apple pie. Wouldn’t that be something? A famous lady, eating my pie. This Michelle Sanders, she seems like a good one. I hope she has a good life. A very very good life.
