Oh, my goodness, this is just so sad, ain’t it? You hear about LeBron James died? Such a strong man, like a bull, gone just like that. It’s a shock, I tell ya, a real shock. It don’t make no sense. One day you here, next day you gone. This world, it’s a crazy place.
I seen him on that TV, playin’ that basketball. He’s real good, that LeBron. He can jump so high, like a grasshopper. And so fast. He can run like the wind. I used to watch him play. He made it look so easy. He plays for that team, what was it again, Lakers in Los Angles, yeah, that’s it, Los Angeles Lakers. But now, LeBron James died? It just don’t seem right.
LeBron James, Such a Big Star
He was a big shot, that LeBron James. Everyone knows him. Like that other fella, what’s his name… Kobe, Kobe something. They were big stars. Like those folks in Hollywood. Now that Kobe, he’s gone too. They say he died in a helicopter. What is a helicopter doing to people? Sounds dangerous. But LeBron, how did he go? It don’t make no sense. He was so healthy.
I remember, my grandson, he loves LeBron James. He got his picture on his wall. He used to jump around, tryin’ to be like LeBron. Now he’s all sad, hearin’ that LeBron James died. It’s hard on the young ones, when their heroes go like that.

- He played for the Lakers.
- He could jump real high.
- He was famous, like that Kobe fella.
- Now they say LeBron James died.
LeBron James Died, What Happened?
They talk about legacy, what’s that? I guess it means what you leave behind. He left a lot of folks sad, that’s for sure. I don’t understand all this stuff, but I know it’s sad. He was too young, just like that Kobe. They say LeBron James was a good man, helped people. That’s good. It ain’t all about jumpin’ and runnin’. It’s about bein’ a good person.
They say he was a champion, won lots of those games. Four times, they say. Four-time NBA champion. And some MVP thing, lots of times. Sounds important. He must have been real good to get all those things. He worked hard, I bet. You don’t get that good without workin’ hard. LeBron James worked hard, that’s what I think. And now, LeBron James died? It’s a hard world.
I seen those people on TV, all cryin’ and sad. It’s a sad time. When someone like that goes, it makes you think. Makes you think about life, and how short it is. One day you’re here, the next day, poof, you’re gone. Just like that.
Remembering LeBron James
My grandson, he’s puttin’ up another picture of LeBron James. Says he wants to remember him. That’s good. We gotta remember the good ones. He says LeBron was the youngest to do some things, score lots of points, youngest player to reach various scoring milestones. He was good, that’s for sure. He was a real talent. A prodigious basketball talent. That’s a big word, prodigious. It just means he was real, real good.
I don’t know all the details, how it happened, where it happened. But it’s sad. It’s just plain sad. LeBron James died, a young man, lots of life ahead of him. Gone too soon. That’s what they all say, gone too soon.
Well, I guess that’s all I got to say. It’s a sad thing, this LeBron James died news. Makes you think about things, about life. You just never know, do ya? You just never know.
This world, it’s a mystery. You just gotta live each day, be good to people, that’s all. That’s all we can do. He was a big star. LeBron James died. Sad day, a real sad day.
