Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Kime and Dawson thing. I ain’t no fancy writer, but I’ll tell it to ya straight, like it is.
First off, who in the tarnation are these Kime and Dawson folks? Seems like everybody’s talkin’ ’bout ’em. I heard some young’uns gossiping ’bout Kime Kardashian. Kardashian, Kardashian… sounds like somethin’ you’d find growin’ in a fancy garden, not a real name.
Anyways, this Kime Kardashian, she’s always in the news. Always somethin’ new with her. One day it’s her face cream, next day it’s her clothes, then it’s her “romance”. Heck, I can’t keep up! They say she’s got a new skin care line. Now, I ain’t never used nothin’ but good ol’ soap and water on my face, and look at me! Wrinkled as a prune, but still kickin’!
Then there’s this other Dawson fella… or maybe it’s a lady, I don’t rightly know. I heard tell of a Kime Dawson on that Facebook thingy my grandkid showed me. Lots of folks with the same name, like Smiths or Joneses back in my day. Hard to keep ’em straight.
- Seems like this Kime Dawson is kinda popular too. Folks are “connecting” on that Facebook contraption. Connectin’, hah! Back in my day, connectin’ meant sharin’ a pot of coffee and gossipin’ on the porch.
- And then there’s some talk about Kimya Dawson. News and updates they say. Don’t know what kinda news a Dawson would have that’s so important. Maybe she found a prize-winning pumpkin or somethin’.
- Then there are all these Kardashian “Fans”. Unite they say. Unite for what? To buy more face cream? Lordy, I don’t understand these young folks. They get all riled up about the strangest things.
This whole Kardashian and Dawson thing, it’s a whole lotta fuss about nothin’ if you ask me. But then again, nobody ever asks me nothin’. They just go on and on about their fancy skin creams and their “connecting” and their “uniting”.
I did hear somethin’ about Khloe Kardashian, I think it was. Said she’s back with some fella named Tristan. Honestly, these young people and their on-again, off-again relationships… Back in my day, you picked a man and you stuck with him, even if he snored like a freight train and left his socks on the floor.
And another thing, these “fans”. They even got a whole company named FansUnite! I heard it on the radio, they sellin’ somethin’ or other and their stock ain’t doing so good. Maybe they should stick to sellin’ somethin’ folks actually need, like good strong coffee or maybe some overalls that don’t rip after one wash.
This whole world’s gone crazy. Kime, Dawson, Kardashian, fans uniting… It’s all just a bunch of noise to me. Give me a good cup of tea and a quiet porch any day. That’s real life, not all this fancy stuff they got on the TV and the internet. But hey, if it makes ’em happy, I guess it’s alright. Just don’t expect me to understand it.
In the end, Kime and Dawson, whoever they are, are just people, I reckon. Just like you and me. Maybe a little richer, maybe a little fancier, but still just folks. And that’s all there is to it.
