Okay, so I’ve been thinking about this whole wearables thing, and I just had to share my experience. I mean, I’ve got a smartwatch on my left wrist, and recently, I started wearing a fitness tracker on my right. At first, I thought, “Is this weird? Am I overdoing it?” But then I started actually using them and well, here’s what happened.
So, first things first, I grabbed both my smartwatch and my fitness tracker. Charged them up, of course. My smartwatch is one of those that do pretty much everything – calls, messages, you name it. The fitness tracker is more focused, you know, steps, heart rate, sleep, that kind of stuff.
I started wearing them both, one on each wrist. Initially, it felt a bit strange. Like, I was very aware of having something on both my wrists. But I got used to it pretty quickly. People around me didn’t seem to notice or care, which was a relief.
- The smartwatch was great for staying connected without having to pull out my phone all the time. I could see who was calling, read texts, and even reply to emails with voice.
- The fitness tracker, on the other hand, was amazing at, well, tracking my fitness. I started paying more attention to my steps, how much I was moving, and even my sleep patterns. It was eye-opening to see all that data.
I kept this up for a few weeks, and honestly, it became pretty normal. I realized that each device served a different purpose. The smartwatch was more about convenience and staying connected, while the fitness tracker was about health and, you know, being more aware of my body.

The Result
Well, after a while, I actually started to like having both. It wasn’t weird at all. It was practical! I was getting the best of both worlds. I was staying connected and keeping an eye on my health at the same time.
And I was getting the best of both worlds by staying connected and keeping an eye on my health at the same time. It wasn’t weird at all, actually, it was practical!
So, to answer the question, “Is it weird to have wearables on each wrist?” I’d say, nope, not at all. It might feel a bit odd at first, but if it works for you, if it helps you stay connected and healthy, then why not? That’s my take on it, anyway.
I found that each device was good at its own thing. It made me more aware of how I was doing day-to-day. I even started eating better and getting more sleep. Go figure, right?
I guess what I am trying to say is, do not be afraid to try new things. You might find something that works great for you!
