Okay, so I’ve been wanting to find my signature scent for a while now, and I decided to start with Dior because, well, who doesn’t love Dior? I heard they have this thing called a “Scent Finder Service,” so I figured I’d give it a shot.
First, I started browsing online. I saw some mentions of this “Dior Fragrance Finder,” which sounded promising. I also found some information about different collections they have, like “Miss Dior,” and something about extending the fragrance with bath and body products. That all sounded pretty nice, but I wanted to get the full experience, so I decided to head to a store.
I remembered seeing something about a place called “Beymen” and “Korupark Avm” in a place named “Osmangazi.” I figured it must be some sort of fancy shopping center, maybe they had a Dior counter there. And it looked like they sold other stuff, like “After Shave” and “Kadın Parfm.” I didn’t know what those meant but assumed they were related to fragrances.
I spent a good amount of time just sniffing around. I mean, how else do you find a scent you like? I tried out a bunch of different perfumes, some I liked, some not so much. I also talked to one of the sales associates. She was pretty helpful and gave me some tips on how to figure out my preferences.
She told me to think about the occasions I’d wear the perfume and the time of day. She also said to trust my nose, which, duh, but it’s a good reminder. She even suggested taking a cotton ball, rubbing it on my skin after a shower, and smelling it to get a sense of my natural scent. That sounded a bit weird, but I guess it makes sense.
I also asked a friend to come with me for a second opinion. It’s always good to have someone else’s input, right? We spent a whole afternoon just going around, trying different scents, and comparing notes.

My Findings
It was a long process, but I think I finally narrowed it down. I ended up really liking this one scent from the Miss Dior line. It was floral but not too overpowering, and it just felt right. I decided to buy a small bottle to try it out for a few weeks and see if I still like it after wearing it for a while. This whole experience taught me that finding a signature scent is a journey, not a destination. I’m excited to keep exploring and see what other fragrances I might discover, but for now, I’m pretty happy with my Miss Dior.
