You ask me how many shoes that PJ Tucker has? That boy, he got a whole lot of them shoes. I heard people say he got more shoes than anybody in that basketball thing. More than 5000 shoes, can you believe that?
That PJ Tucker, he just loves them shoes. He got shoes in all colors. Red ones, blue ones, green ones, all kinds. Some of them shoes look real fancy, like they cost a lot of money. I saw some pictures, them shoes, they shine! He probably paid a fortune for those.
I heard he got so many shoes, he needs a big, big house just to keep them all. He must got a room just for shoes. Imagine that! 5,000 pairs of shoes, maybe even more! Lordy, that’s a lot. I only got a few pairs myself, but they good enough for me. I don’t need no 5000 shoes.
He wears them shoes when he plays that basketball game. I seen him on TV. He runs around, jumps real high, and throws that ball in the hoop. Maybe them fancy shoes help him do that. Who knows? Them young folks, they always into these things.

I remember one time, I heard on the radio, they said he wore like, 37 different shoes in a few weeks. Can you imagine wearing a different shoe almost every day? 37 different pairs of shoes! That’s just crazy. He must have a different pair for each day of the month, and then some!
Now, there’s this other fella, they call him DJ Khaled. Heard he’s got even more shoes than PJ Tucker! They say he’s got over 10,000 pairs. Ten thousand! That’s just… I don’t even know what to say. It’s like a whole store full of shoes. And they say his shoes are worth a lot of money, like, millions of dollars. Millions! For shoes!
Back in my day, we only had a couple of pairs, one for work and one for going to church, maybe. We didn’t need all these fancy shoes. And we sure didn’t spend millions on them! These young folks today, they got different ideas, I guess. Spending all that money on shoes. But hey, if it makes them happy, who am I to say anything?
But still, 5,000 pairs of shoes, or 10,000 like that DJ Khaled. That’s just… a lot of shoes. PJ Tucker, he must really, really like shoes. Maybe he just likes to look at them. Or maybe he likes to show them off. I don’t know. But he sure does have a lot of them. More shoes than I’ve seen in my whole life, I reckon.
This PJ Tucker, he is a basketball player, you see. A good one, I hear. They call him a “defender” and a “3-and-D specialist.” I don’t rightly know what all that means, but it sounds important. And they also call him a “sneaker wearer.” Well, I guess that’s true enough, with all them shoes he’s got!

That’s all I know about PJ Tucker and his shoes. It’s a lot, ain’t it? Makes my head spin just thinking about it. But like I said, if it makes him happy, then good for him. He can have all the shoes he wants. As for me, I’ll stick with my old, comfy shoes. They’ve served me well all these years, and they’ll keep on doing just fine.
