Alright, let’s gab about them city fellas and their fancy clothes, you know, the New York men’s street style in 2024. I ain’t no fashion expert, mind you, just a regular person lookin’ at pictures and tellin’ ya what I see.
So, I saw these pictures, right? Lots of fellas walkin’ around New York City. Some of ’em looked right sensible, others… well, they looked like they got dressed in the dark! But hey, that’s what they call “style” these days, I reckon.
One thing I noticed, lots of layers. Like, a shirt, then a sweater, then a jacket, sometimes even another jacket on top of that! Must get awful hot, but I guess it looks… fashionable? They had all sorts of jackets too. Puffy ones, like them marshmallow candies, and those thin ones that look like they wouldn’t keep ya warm in a chicken coop.
- Puffy Jackets: Like big ol’ marshmallows, keepin’ ya warm I guess.
- Thin Jackets: Look fancy, but I doubt they’d stop a cold wind.
- Sweaters: All kinds, some with funny patterns, some plain.
And the pants! Some were so tight, I swear they couldn’t bend over to tie their shoes. Others were so baggy, they looked like they were wearin’ potato sacks. And the colors! Everything from plain ol’ black and brown to bright orange and green. One fella was wearin’ pants that were half one color, half another. Looked like he got dressed in a hurry and grabbed the wrong pants leg!
Shoes were another thing altogether. Some had these big clunky boots, like they were gonna go hike up a mountain or somethin’. Others had sneakers, all bright and shiny. And then there were these… loafers, I think they call ’em? Looked like slippers to me, but what do I know? I stick to my comfy shoes, the kind that let my feet breathe.
Hats! Lots of hats. Baseball caps, beanies, even those funny little bucket hats. I don’t get the hat thing, myself. Always messin’ up your hair. But these city fellas, they seem to like ’em.
Now, accessories, that’s a whole ‘nother story. Some fellas had scarves, even when it wasn’t that cold. Others had these big, chunky necklaces. And sunglasses! Even on cloudy days. I guess they think it makes ‘em look cool. Maybe it does, who am I to judge?
One thing’s for sure, these fellas put a lot of thought into what they wear. Or maybe they don’t, and just grab whatever’s clean. I can’t rightly say. But it’s interesting to look at, all the different styles. Some I like, some I don’t, but that’s the way it is with everything, ain’t it?
It’s all about bein’ yourself, I reckon. Whether you’re wearin’ fancy city clothes or just plain ol’ overalls, the important thing is to be comfortable and feel good about yourself. That’s what I always say. And these fellas in New York, they seem to be doin’ just that, even if some of their outfits are a bit… unusual.
So, that’s my take on the New York men’s street style in 2024. Take it with a grain of salt, like I said, I ain’t no fashion expert. Just a person sharin’ what she sees. But if you want to dress like these city fellas, go right ahead. Just remember to wear what makes you happy. And maybe bring an extra jacket, just in case.
And don’t forget comfortable shoes! You’ll be doing a lot of walking in that city. And maybe leave the potato sack pants at home. Just a suggestion, mind you. You do you.
Overall, it’s a mix of comfy and fancy, practical and… well, not so practical. But that’s fashion for ya, always changin’ and always keepin’ ya guessin’. And who knows, maybe next year they’ll all be wearin’ overalls and work boots. Now that’s a style I can get behind!
