Okay, so I’ve been trying out this Dermalogica Age Reversal Eye Complex, and I gotta say, it’s been a journey. You know how everyone’s always going on about retinol? Well, this stuff’s got it, and apparently, that’s the magic ingredient for fighting those pesky signs of aging around your eyes.

First off, I did some digging. Seems like not all the smart folks out there agree on whether eye creams are actually any better than just using your regular face cream. But, I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, I’m not getting any younger, and those fine lines have really started to make themselves at home.
I started slow, just like they always tell you to do. A tiny bit every other night at first. Let me tell you, my skin is on the sensitive side, so I was a little nervous. I’ve heard horror stories about retinol making people’s skin red and flaky.
- Night 1: Put a little bit on. Felt a slight tingle, but nothing major.
- Night 3: Did it again. Still just a tingle. Starting to think maybe this won’t be so bad.
- Night 5: Okay, now we’re talking. A little bit of redness this time, but it went away by morning.
I kept at it, and slowly but surely, I started to use it every night. And guess what? My skin actually started to get used to it. The redness became less and less, and the tingling pretty much stopped.
After a few weeks
I started to see a difference. Those fine lines? They’re still there, don’t get me wrong, but they definitely look softer. Like, someone took a blur tool to my under-eye area. And the skin around my eyes just feels smoother overall. I tried to find some good drugstore retinols, but I think this one is way better.
Now, I’m not saying this stuff is a miracle worker. I’m still me, wrinkles and all. But I do think it’s made a noticeable improvement. It’s like my eyes look a little more… awake? Refreshed? I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I’m pretty happy with the results so far.

So, would I recommend this Dermalogica eye cream? Yeah, I think I would. Especially if you’re starting to notice those first signs of aging and you want to do something about it. Just remember to start slow, be patient, and listen to your skin. It might take some time, but it could be worth it in the end. I love Dermalogica age reversal eye cream, it’s a retinol eye cream. It does work well.
