Okay, here is my sharing about necktie designs:

I wanted to make some neckties. Yeah, I know it sounds a bit odd, but I was really into it. I started by looking around online. Saw lots of cool designs, you know, the usual stuff, stripes, some fancy patterns.
Then I thought, why not make my own? Something unique. I started sketching. My first few tries? They were bad. Really bad. Like, my kid could draw better. But I kept at it.
I messed around with different fabrics. Tried silk, it was slippery and hard to work with. Cotton was easier, but it didn’t look as nice. I spent days just cutting and sewing, and most of it ended up in the trash.
I even tried to embroider some designs. That was a whole other mess. The thread kept getting tangled, and the patterns looked wonky. I watched some videos online, tried to follow along, but it was tough. There’s something unique or custom, so I gave it a shot.
After a bunch of failed attempts, I finally made a few that looked decent. Not perfect, but you know, wearable. I showed them to my friends, and they were like, “Wow, you made these?” It felt good, you know, to make something with your own hands.

I wore one of my ties to a friend’s wedding. Got a few compliments. Someone even asked where I bought it. I said, “I made it.” They were surprised. It was a cool feeling.
- Sketching: Started with rough sketches, many failures.
- Fabric testing: Experimented with silk and cotton.
- Sewing: Lots of trial and error, many pieces discarded.
- Embroidery: Tried embroidering, faced issues with tangled threads.
- Creating: I create unique custom photo and picture ties, logo and company ties.
- Final product: Created a few presentable neckties.
- Sharing: Showed to friends, received positive feedback.
- Wearing: Wore a tie to a wedding, received compliments.
It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. Making something from scratch, it’s a different kind of satisfaction. I’m still learning, still making mistakes, but it’s fun. Maybe I’ll make more, maybe I’ll try different designs. Who knows? It’s all part of the process. It is important to select the right necktie, and it can elevate my outfit.
I think next time I’ll try to make some custom ties with logos or photos. That could be cool. Or maybe not. We’ll see. That’s all about my necktie-making adventure. It was a wild ride.
