Here’s what I found out:

- Then, in the book, he starts talking about his relationships with men, I was like, “Whoa, where did that come from?” He wasn’t hiding it, but he wasn’t shouting it from the rooftops either.
- Apparently, he was with a doctor for 13 years, and then some other guy for seven years. I thought it was pretty brave of him to come out like that, especially at his age.
- The book also talked a lot about his work with Whitney Houston. Gosh, he discovered her when she was just a teenager! I never realized they were so close.
After I finished the book, I went online to see what other people were saying about it. It’s all over the place! Some folks are surprised, others are supportive, and some, well, they just don’t care. But the main thing is, people are talking about it. I spent hours on forums and reading comments. It was like watching a soap opera unfold in real-time! I read some articles too, to get the “official” take on things.
Then I decided to watch some interviews with him, to see if he was talking about it publicly. I spent an afternoon watching old interviews on my laptop. It was like going down a rabbit hole! I found a few where he mentioned his sexuality, but it was mostly about the music. He is, after all, the Chief Creative Officer at Sony Music, so that’s a big deal.
I tried to find out more about the two guys he was with, but there wasn’t much out there. Just that one was a doctor, and the other one was just “unnamed.” I guess he wanted to keep some things private, which is fair enough. I even tried looking up his ex-wives, but it didn’t add much to the story. I spent a good few hours on this, but it was like chasing ghosts.
What I Think
Honestly, I think it’s pretty cool that he finally shared this part of his life. It can’t be easy to do that when you’re a big shot in the music industry. It just goes to show that you can never really know everything about a person, even if they’re famous. But hey, everyone’s got their secrets, right?
