Man, getting ready for Coachella this year was a whole thing. You know I had to go big, especially with the buzz around Charli D’Amelio’s outfits. I mean, that girl’s style is just… chef’s kiss. So, I started off by thinking, “What would Charli wear?” and that got the ball rolling.
First thing I did was scroll through some of Charli’s latest Insta posts to get a feel for her current vibe. I noticed she’s been into sheer fabrics and bold, yet simple pieces. That sheer white dress she wore? Oh, I knew I had to do something similar, but with my own twist. I hit up a few local boutiques, trying on a bunch of stuff until I found this amazing sheer, flowy dress. It wasn’t white, more like a soft beige, which I figured would be perfect for the desert vibes.
Next up, shoes. You can’t do Coachella in just any old shoes, right? I remembered seeing Charli rocking combat boots with her dresses, giving off that perfect mix of girly and tough. I already had a pair of trusty black combat boots, so I polished those bad boys up. They were ready to go.
Accessorizing is Key
- Bandanas: I grabbed a couple of colorful bandanas. One for my hair, and one to tie around my wrist, just to add a pop of color.
- Jewelry: I kept it simple with some beaded bracelets and a long, silver necklace. Nothing too flashy, just enough to catch the light and add some sparkle.
On the day of, I put it all together. I slipped into the sheer dress, paired with a simple black swimsuit I picked up. Threw on the boots, tied the bandana in my hair, and added the jewelry. I looked in the mirror and, not gonna lie, I felt pretty good. It was like, I was ready to step into the festival and just own it.
Once I got to Coachella, it was a blast. I danced, I laughed, I took a ton of photos. And you know what? A few people even came up to me asking where I got my dress. It felt awesome to channel a bit of that Charli D’Amelio magic and make it my own. Definitely a Coachella to remember!
So that is it. I wore a sheer dress, did some simple makeup, put on a pair of combat boots, and I rocked Coachella. Hope you guys enjoyed reading my adventure this time, see you next time!
