Alright, let’s talk about them places in Denver where you can watch the games and stuff, you know, like the Bostonian Denver kind of places. I ain’t been to Boston, but I reckon Denver’s got its own thing going on.
First off, you got these big ol’ taverns, like that Blake Street Tavern they talk about. Sounds fancy, huh? 18,000 square feet, they say. That’s a whole lotta space for watching folks runnin’ around with a ball. Good if you don’t wanna be squished in like sardines, I guess. They say it’s good for when other places is full up. Makes sense, more room, more folks can fit.
Then there’s this Jackson’s place. Right across from that Coors’ Field. Sounds like a good spot to go before, durin’, or after the game. They got a patio, too. So you can sit outside if you want, get some fresh air. Unless it’s rainin’, then you’re better off inside, I reckon.
- Big places good for crowds
- Patios good for fresh air
Now, if you’re into that “football” – you know, the one where they kick the ball with their feet, not the one with the helmets and all that – then they got this British Bulldog place. They open early on the weekends, so you can catch them games from across the pond. They say it gets loud in there, folks cheerin’ and all. Sounds like a hoot!
And if you’re hungry, there’s places with food, too. This Rhein Haus, they got German food. Pretzels as big as your head, they say. And schnitzel, whatever that is. And goulash. Sounds like stick-to-your-ribs kinda food, good for fillin’ your belly while you’re watchin’ the game. And of course, you need beer, every body drinking beer, at least that is what I see.
Sports bars in Denver, they got all sorts, seems like. Big ones, small ones, ones with patios, ones with German food. They even got one for the gays, they say. First one in Denver. Got TVs and a patio with sound. So everybody can find a place they like, I guess. That’s good, ain’t it? Somethin’ for everyone.

And then there’s this Tom’s Watch Bar place. On 19th street, they say. Guess it’s another spot to watch the game. They probably got beer too, most of these places do. And burgers, everybody likes them burgers, don’t they?
They say Denver’s sports bars take game-day up a notch. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds fancy. They talk about watching all sorts of games there. Basketball, football—the American kind and the other kind—even soccer. So no matter what you like to watch, you can find a place to do it.
And if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to eat while you watch, they got more than just pretzels and schnitzel. Some places got “elevated classics” like crispy chicken, whatever that is. Sounds like fancy fried chicken to me. But hey, if it tastes good, who cares what they call it?
So, yeah, Denver’s got plenty of places to watch the game. Whether you want a big place or a small place, a loud place or a quiet place, a place with American food or German food, they got it all. Just gotta find the one that suits you, that’s all. And hopefull they got parking too, I hate it when there’s no place to park!
I heard there is a place to make reservation so you get a seat, I guess that is good. If you don’t want to wait. Me? I don’t mind the wait. Get to see people and such. And some of these places have WIFI, so you can look up stuff on your phone. Though I don’t know why you would need to do that when the game is on. But folks these days, they always lookin’ at their phones.

Anyway, that’s the lowdown on them Denver sports bars, as best as I can tell ya. Go find yourself a spot, grab a beer and a burger or whatever, and enjoy the game. And don’t forget to cheer loud!
