Hey there, y’all! Let’s yak a bit ’bout them black and white Chanel purses, ya know, the fancy ones the city gals tote around.
I ain’t no expert, mind you, just an old gal who’s seen a thing or two. These here Chanel bags, they been around longer’n I can remember. Folks say some woman named Coco, she started it all. Don’t know her from Adam, but she sure knew how to make a purse, that’s for sure.
Now, these black and white ones, they somethin’ special. Black’s always been classy, ya know, goes with everything. And white, well, it’s just clean and pretty. Put ’em together, and you got yourself a purse that’ll turn heads, even in the big city.
I heard tell these purses got all sorts of fancy names, like “Classic Flap” and such. Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me, but I guess it matters to some folks. What matters to me is if it can hold my stuff and if it looks good doin’ it.

- Chanel – That’s the name, the brand, the whole shebang. Means it costs a pretty penny, I reckon.
- Purse – That’s what it is, a bag for carryin’ your things. Wallets, lipstick, maybe a snack or two.
They say this fella named Karl, he changed things up a bit back in the day. Added some fancy chains and a lock with them two C’s on it. Guess he knew what he was doin’, ’cause folks still go crazy for them purses.
Them Chanel Classic Flap bags, they the ones everybody wants. Been around since way back when, and they ain’t goin’ nowhere. I seen pictures, them things is quilted, like a grandma’s quilt but made outta leather or somethin’. And they got that chain, so you can sling it over your shoulder, hands-free for shoppin’ or whatnot.
Now, if you ask me, the medium size is the way to go. Not too big, not too small, just right for holdin’ all your necessities. And gold hardware? Oh honey, that’s the ticket. Black and gold, that’s a combo that’ll never go outta style. Timeless, they call it. Means it’ll look good today, tomorrow, and ten years from now. Kinda like a good cast iron skillet, just keeps on workin’.
I ain’t gonna lie, these purses cost a fortune. More money than I’ve seen in my whole life, I betcha. But some folks, they got money to burn, and they wanna spend it on somethin’ nice. And I reckon a black and white Chanel purse is about as nice as it gets.
