Today I went to the Beyonce Laundrette. I heard about this place from my friend, and I thought it would be fun to try. It was a bit of a trek to get there, but I finally made it. It’s in a pretty busy area, so I found a parking spot a few blocks away and walked over.
When I walked in, I saw it was a pretty standard laundromat. There were rows of washing machines and dryers, and a few people were doing their laundry. I headed over to the change machine and got some coins. Then I found an empty washing machine and loaded my clothes in. I added detergent and fabric softener, selected the cycle, and started the machine.
While my clothes were washing, I sat down on one of the benches and scrolled through my phone. There was free Wi-Fi, which was nice. I also noticed a vending machine with snacks and drinks, but I didn’t get anything.
- First, I loaded my clothes into an empty machine.
- Then, I added detergent and fabric softener.
- Next, I selected the cycle and started the machine.
- After that, I transferred my clothes to a dryer.
- Finally, I folded my clothes and left the laundromat.
After about 30 minutes, my wash cycle was done. I moved my clothes to a dryer and popped in a few more coins. It took about 45 minutes for my clothes to dry completely. Once they were done, I folded them neatly and put them in my laundry basket.
Overall, it was a pretty uneventful experience. It was just like any other laundromat, except for the name. I didn’t see any Beyonce-themed decorations or anything like that. Maybe I missed it. But hey, at least my clothes are clean now. And I checked out a new laundromat, even if it was totally normal other than the name. After I finished, I headed back to my car and drove home.

I give this place a solid 3 out of 5 stars. It’s clean, has working machines, and free Wi-Fi. Nothing special, but it gets the job done.
